Insurance claim help — you stay in control
Your claim belongs to you. Our job is to give you clear evidence and an honest, itemized estimate so you can deal with your insurer with confidence.
How we help
- Inspect the roof and photograph the damage
- Temporary repairs to prevent more damage (with receipts)
- A written, itemized estimate you can send to your insurer
- If you ask, we can be there when the adjuster inspects the roof
Florida deadlines
Florida law generally bars a property claim unless notice is given within 1 year after the date of loss; a supplemental claim has 18 months. For hurricanes, the date of loss is the landfall date. Policies issued or renewed before mid-December 2022 may have longer deadlines — check your policy.
If you disagree with the decision
The Florida Department of Financial Services offers free residential property mediation and a consumer helpline (1-877-693-5236). Your policy may also offer appraisal.
